Title: Leap Year
Post by: Roy 4690 on April 13, 2020, 02:12:03 pm
2020 being a leap year and 1970 a standard year, I'm pretty sure we are marking all the events of this great mission, one day late. Launch date was April 11, 1970. If you count the days, that was the 101st day of the year. This being a leap year, the 101st day of the year was April 10th because of the insertion of February 29th. There's no mistake because Spring Equinox occurred this year on March 19th. One day early. So the explosion actually happened 50 years ago yesterday.
