Title: New time for a couple of images plus possible glitch?
Post by: onebigmonkey on December 24, 2022, 03:59:01 am
Hi

I've been reworking my site covering weather satellite data and Apollo imagery, and think there are some photos that are incorrectly located.

The photos concerned are AS117-152-23415 to 23420, which you've placed at around 262 hours into the mission.

Looking at the satellite data and the mission transcripts, I believe they should go around here:

https://apolloinrealtime.org/17/?t=286:18:24 and
https://apolloinrealtime.org/17/?t=290:07:45

together with some 16mm footage taken at the same time.

You can follow the logic here:

In looking through the transcripts on your site, there's a small chunk missing at both points that appear in the Command module transcripts, but for which you have no audio or written record. Also, it takes a long time to load the site at that second point - is there a problem with the code there?
