Apollo General Discussion / How is "Join in progress" calculated?

Does anyone know how is "Join in progress" calculated?

Obviously for Apollo 11 and 17, 50 yrs ago exactly doesn't map to any timeline in the mission. (For apollo 13 for that matter) So I'm curious on the algorithm. To map exactly on just same time on the same day of the week doesn't work either b/c the some missions lasts longer than 7 days.
