Apollo 13 Moments of Interest / SURGEON: Interesting CO2 discussion

Extremely interesting discussion from SURGEON and back room with what happens with CO2 exposure, including past studies made of people breathing up to 30 mmHg CO2. The docs think that Gemini crews were deliberately exposed to high CO2 in training to see how they'd react.

Apollo 13 Moments of Interest / 097:37:17 Dr Ziegelsmichdt phone call about safe drinking water

Dr Z(iegelsmichdt) on the Surgeon's phone line again, this time talking about whether its okay to drink the water from the PLSS (life support backpacks) and apparently it's okay but would 'taste like drinking from a garden hose', and they're also considering whether you can reclaim urine for drinking by using desalter tablets from the survival kit. "I don't think we have to go that far", they think. Another suggestion is trying to suck the water gun in case that gets some water out.
