Thanks for finding this. I passed the info on to the Operations Scientist at Parkes... and he then passed the recording on to Geoff Foote and Bruce Window. They're the people the controllers were talking about driving to the telescope to setup the microwave relays and re-configuring the antenna....

Parkes was not scheduled to support. Short view periods. HSK and HSKX could give good enough comms, especially with the deployed surface S band antenna.
And getting Parkes up and go was far more complicatd than just "adding a portable microwave link"
