Exp48  Kate Rubins talking with BioServe's Shankini Doraisingam about the Heart Cells investigation - the first long duration cell culture performed on ISS.

At this moment, Kate had put the heart cells under the microscope and both she and the ground can see them "beating"

At this moment, Kate sequenced DNA for the first time on ISS.
